Top of the Morning to you,
I pray this message finds you well and in peace, knowing that grace always follows you. I am well-centered and curious about what God is doing in this new season.
I am checking in and keeping it short and sweet.
My daughter, Sage, saw a homeless man on the side of the road the other day and said, “Mom, he looks like God.” She paused and continued, “Well, he looks like he's on God’s side.” My heart melted. I was reminded from the mouths of babies that we are all God’s children, regardless of our status, job title, or appearance.
I hope you know you are worthy simply because you exist.
My purpose in sharing that story with you is to remind you that we often forget this simple fact while chasing accomplishments, riding the wave of relationships, and experiencing the ebbs and flows of life. Don’t forget it, girlfriend. Remember who TF you are!
In Episode 3 of Brick by Brick with Dr. Aletha Miller, we discuss finding our center after a period of mental distress. She emphasizes the need to have boundaries, suffer out loud, and not be alone. My purpose in inviting her to have this conversation is to help someone who may be in a space of isolation, depression, or something similar. May you find the strength to reach out to your loved ones or seek professional help.
I prioritize friendship and community because my girlfriends have helped me through some of my darkest times. There isn’t much a good long phone conversation, couch therapy session, or night out can’t heal.
I haven’t watched much TV, but I have a few recommendations.

We are entering the final week of the 30-day wellness challenge! See how fast time flies? The ladies have been checking in, clocking their workouts, and motivating each other. I suggest getting an accountability partner if you need to get back on the horse. I know I couldn’t do it without mine!
Until next time,
