Can you believe it? We're already at the end of April, and spring is in full swing! The weather is shifting, and exciting events are on the horizon. If you’re anything like me, you're already planning for an amazing summer. This week’s fashion finds are a mix of casual, work, and occasion pieces, perfect for the season ahead.
As always, let me know what you think! Let’s get into it.
Tops -
Good American, in my opinion, offers some of the best quality denim on the market right now. It's stretchy and durable, promising years of use. I was thrilled when I discovered this denim top because I knew it would be crafted from the same high-quality material. The best part? This top is incredibly versatile, allowing for a number of stylish looks.
A good parka is a must-have in any wardrobe. It's the perfect lightweight jacket for running errands or enjoying a leisurely stroll. This deep olive parka from ZARA is not only a stylish choice but also a practical one, especially for this season.
It’s linen season! I personally don’t overdo it with linen in the closet. A few pieces are enough at this stage in my life. This shade of green and oversized fit linen set from ZARA is a timeless quality pick.
I love this off-the-shoulder bodysuit from Express. It comes in four colors, but the black stood out to me as the most elegant. You can dress it up or down. Imagine this with your favorite pair of jeans. Or for a fundraising event with a pencil skirt.
This PUMA hoodie is just cute! The colorful design allows it to be simply styled; you won’t have to add much to make a statement. I would pair it with a nice pair of biker shorts and sneakers.
Bottoms -
I was underwhelmed when I glanced over this week’s bottom picture above. But in actuality, there are some very good staple choices here.
SKIMS biker shorts won’t disappoint. If you aren’t on the SKIMS train, try out a few of their basic items. The material is soft and has a lot of stretch. It is not cheap and see-through. They have a large selection of basics and shapewear I would highly recommend.
I was super happy when I found these Spanx pleated trousers. We all have a set of black pants we throw on with company polos, a blazer, or a top on those days when we don’t feel like putting together a full look. These are on sale! They have an elastic waistband with wide legs. They are also available in a khaki color. For the win!
Normally, I run in the opposite direction of a fully styled fit on the mannequin or a website. That increases your chances of having a twin when you step out. However. This good American denim look is amazing! These light wash bell bottom jeans are a good addition to your closet if you don’t already have this style and shade.
They say the older you get, you will see things return in style. Long denim skirts are back! I like them. But I would rock one if I am comfortable showing my waistline. Otherwise, it will give Jehovah's Witness knocking at your front door. Lots of styling options.
Dresses -
This little pink number from Never Fully Dressed is so cute and sexy at the same time!
This black mini dress with a halter neckline is perfect for a day out on vacation.
I believe in splurging on good coverups. You can continue to throw them in the suitcase year after year. This option from REVOLVE is so classy with its shades of pink and a hint of black.
Attending a wedding soon? Check out this satin slip dress from ZARA. I like the twisted neckline and neutral color tone.
Absolute favorite denim mini dress I’ve seen this season.
Accessories -
These silver studs from Anthropologie are slightly large; they will cover and hang over your ear lobe. They are more of a statement piece. I steer towards gold more than silver. But sometimes, you need good silver pieces to compliment the colors in your look.
This halter swimsuit from ZARA is hot! This mom bod is wearing mostly one-piece swimsuits this summer, but I still want to feel sexy. I love the colors in the pattern.
In love with the distressed denim bucket hat! It’s on sale!
I feel the same way about hats as I do graphic tees. You need a collection of both - they can make a statement when you don’t necessarily feel up to it. Spiritual Gangster? Accurate or nah?
Another good coverup! The shade of pink isn’t too girlie but has a soft undertone that will compliment the melanin in your skin.
Shoes -
I went shopping for a gift last week and snapped pictures of the new sandal collection at Dillard’s. All of these caught my eye.
That’s all for now! Thank you for emailing me with feedback! I am truly appreciative of the ability to show up here and help you find something to wear.
Let me know what you think.
Until next time,
Feleccia
